Seattle Reign FC Defender Jordyn Bugg Earns NWSL Team of the Month Honors
Seattle Reign FC defender Jordyn Bugg has been named to the NWSL Best XI of the Month, presented by Amazon Prime, for her impact on the field throughout March. In her first-ever selection, the 18-year-old defender is the youngest player and only teenager to earn a spot on the NWSL Best XI of the Month in March.
Bugg played every minute of Reign FC's three matches in March, helping the team earn four points and finish sixth in the standings. In Week 2, Bugg earned NWSL Goal of the Week for her game-winning goal on the road in North Carolina. The stunning goal was the first of Bugg’s NWSL career.
The second-year defender finished the month tied for the seventh-most clearances (18) in the league and posted a perfect tackle success rate (100%).
Bugg and Reign FC return to NWSL action for the club's Youth Match at Lumen Field against the undefeated Orlando Pride on Saturday, April 12 (4:30 p.m. PT / ION). Tickets to Reign FC’s next match are available at www.ReignFC.com/Tickets.
